Buy an OBC Bat House

Due to a reduction of natural bat roosts in parts of the country, bat houses are playing  an increasingly important role in maintaining bat populations.  By having a bat colony on your property, you will benefit from having fewer insects in the yard (such as mosquitoes), and you will enjoy observing the bat's acrobatic flying activities.

For over 10 years, scientists at the Organization for Bat Conservation have researched bat houses, with the goal of developing an exceptional design.  When the house is placed in a suitable location, the design boasts a greater than 80% occupancy rate - which is much improved over other models.  A portion of the proceeds from this bat house goes back into bat conservation, public education and ecological research.

At Critter Catchers, we only sell the triple chamber model, which holds up to 300 bats.  If you are serious about maintaining a colony of bats, then this is your bat house.

The house is made out of cedar with a one piece plywood back to eliminate heat lose through cracks. The house is fully caulked and screw constructed.  The bat house comes ready to hang, with no assembly required.

Cost:  $69.99 (Shipping included)
