Skunk Odor Removal

The following recipe can help remove skunk odor from your pet.  The trick to deodorizing your pet is to change the molecular structure of the odor causing chemical through oxidation.  Please note that this weak peroxide solution can lighten the hair, but is safe to use externally.   

1 quart - 3% Hydrogen Peroxide from drugstore. 

1/4 cup - Baking Soda (sodium bicarbonate).

1 dash of common dish soap.

Apply the mixture liberally to the victim and let set for 5 minutes.   Rinse thoroughly.
