Sealant Odor | MSDS Sheets for Sealants
Here are MSDS and technical data for sealants that we use. Please note that Geoflex & Stormblaster are solvent based and has an odor while curing. It is a crystal clear paintable sealant that is appropriate for the various exterior substrates on a home. We are happy to provide samples during your initial inspection. Rarely, customers experience an odor inside the home. We suspect this happens if the home is under negative pressure and something just works out perfectly to cause airflow to go indoors. The solvent is heavier than air, so it will sink to lower parts of the home. Opening windows to allow airflow will help.
