- First-hand
experience is backed by a Biologist with a Bachelors from Oakland
University, Masters Degree earned from Wayne State University,
and a Residential Builder License.

- We are properly
licensed and permitted
through three separate Departments of the State of Michigan: Department of Natural Resources, Department of
Agriculture, and Department of Energy, Labor & Economic Growth.

- In 2008, we established a
Bat
Educational Grant to bring OBC's Live Bat
Experience into Michigan Schools and Michigan Nature Centers.
We continue the support to this day, as a way to give back to
the community and inspire future scientists.

- A photograph of our work was featured in
Bats of Michigan. This book was authored
by Dr. Allen Kurta from Eastern Michigan University.

- We stand behind our work and all bat
exclusions include a 1 year, no-hassle
service agreement.

- We are active members of the Midwest Bat
Working Group. The group was newly formed in 2009 to
address issues related to white nose syndrome and wind farm
effects on bats.

- We attended the 2009 Michigan Bat Working
Group meeting at the US Fish and Wildlife Service office to
obtain
information on the latest rabies and white nose syndrome.

- We have been active Members of the National
Wildlife Control Operators Association since 2006.
|
- We carry liability insurance and employees
are covered by workers compensation insurance.
