How do bats get into my bedroom?
We frequently hear of people that discover a bat in the bedroom. This can be a cause for alarm due to the risk of rabies exposure. Frequently, people wonder how the bat got into the bedroom. We find that many attic hatches are located in bedrooms. If the attic hatch is ajar, then bats can squeeze through the hatch. Bats only need about 3/8 of an inch to gain entry.
