Why do bats chase us around the house?
Bats have excellent vision with their echolocation skills. Through this radar, they can actually sense items as small as the human hair. If you are walking in the yard, and you feel that a bat is chasing you, think again. The bat may be simply consuming insects that are attracted to you!
When there is a lot of excitement in the home, with a bat flying around the room, the bat may fly erratically. However, they are not chasing you. The bat is merely trying to escape.
